Job Summary:
A Telecaller is a customer-facing professional responsible for initiating and receiving calls to and from prospective or existing customers with the objective of generating sales, providing information, resolving queries, or collecting feedback. Telecallers act as a bridge between the company and customers, promoting products or services, answering inquiries, and helping ensure customer satisfaction.
This role is vital for any organization that relies on voice-based customer engagement to drive sales, collect leads, offer support, or conduct surveys. Telecallers may work in various sectors including banking, insurance, healthcare, real estate, education, and retail, among others.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Calling:

Make outgoing calls to potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using pre-approved scripts.

Convince customers to purchase products, use services, or schedule appointments.

Maintain a professional and friendly tone while speaking to customers.

Keep detailed records of calls made, responses, follow-ups, and outcomes.
2. Inbound Calling:

3. Customer Engagement and Retention:

Conduct follow-up calls for repeat business or feedback collection.
4. Lead Generation and Conversion:

Collect and verify customer information such as name, address, email, and requirements.

Qualify leads based on the customer's interest and eligibility.

Forward promising leads to the sales or field team for further action.

Keep a database of interested prospects for future outreach.
5. Handling Objections and Queries:

Listen to customer concerns and handle objections professionally.

Provide answers to frequently asked questions and resolve issues within the scope of authority.

Escalate unresolved complaints to senior executives or the support team.
6. Sales and Revenue Support:

Explain ongoing promotions, discounts, and limited-time offers.

Encourage customers to take advantage of deals to increase conversions.

Upsell or cross-sell related products or services to existing customers.

Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales or call targets.
Skills and Competencies:
