Job Summary:
A Telecaller is responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers and handling inbound inquiries to promote products or services, generate leads, and provide information or assistance. This role requires strong communication skills, a pleasant voice, the ability to engage callers, and a customer-oriented approach.
Telecaller plays a crucial role in an organization’s communication strategy and customer engagement process. Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Calling:

Make outbound calls to new and existing customers using provided leads or databases.

Promote the company’s products or services by clearly explaining features, benefits, and pricing.

Understand customer requirements and suggest appropriate solutions.

Follow up on cold and warm leads to convert them into sales or appointments.
2. Inbound Call Handling:

Answer incoming customer calls promptly and courteously.

Provide accurate information regarding products, services, pricing, and promotions.

Redirect calls to the appropriate department when necessary.

Maintain a professional and helpful tone during all conversations.
3. Lead Generation and Sales Support:

Identify potential customers and record important details for sales follow-up.

Convert leads into sales or qualified appointments for the sales team.

Persuade customers using communication techniques and problem-solving skills.

Achieve daily and weekly call and sales targets as set by the company.
4. Customer Relationship Management:

Maintain positive relationships with clients through regular communication.

Build trust by listening actively and addressing any questions or concerns.

Update and maintain the customer database with detailed notes on interactions and preferences.

Handle grievances professionally and escalate issues when needed.
5. Record Keeping and Reporting:

Maintain detailed logs of every call made or received, including outcomes.

Prepare daily or weekly reports on leads generated, calls made, and conversions achieved.

Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality while updating CRM systems or spreadsheets.
6. Team Coordination:

Work closely with sales executives, field staff, or managers to share valuable customer insights.

Attend daily briefings and training sessions to stay updated on company offerings and targets.
