Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Telecaller to join our customer support and sales team. This role involves handling inbound calls from existing and prospective customers, resolving their queries, providing product or service-related information, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. In addition, the Telecaller will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and converting leads through effective conversation and relationship-building techniques.
The ideal candidate should be a confident communicator with a customer-first mindset and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Freshers with strong communication skills are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inbound Call Handling

Receive and manage a high volume of incoming calls from customers with professionalism and courtesy.

Understand the purpose of the call—whether it is an inquiry, support issue, feedback, or complaint.

Offer accurate, clear, and helpful information regarding products, services, policies, or ongoing offers.

Maintain a helpful and empathetic tone while resolving issues in a timely manner.

Escalate complex issues or complaints to the appropriate department and follow up to ensure resolution.
2. Lead Generation and Qualification

Engage callers to understand their needs and suggest relevant products or services.

Identify high-potential leads from inquiries and classify them based on interest and urgency.

Capture and record detailed customer information (name, contact, requirements, preferences) in the CRM system.

Schedule appointments, product demos, or follow-up calls as per lead potential.

Pass on qualified leads to the field sales or business development team.
3. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Build a positive relationship with each caller through professional and engaging conversation.

Maintain a polite and patient approach even during challenging calls or situations.

Follow up with customers post-call to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, or offer additional support.

Maintain detailed and up-to-date customer records and call logs using CRM or Excel sheets.

Participate in feedback and review sessions with team leaders to improve service quality.
4. Call Documentation & Reporting

Accurately update all call outcomes, follow-up dates, and customer remarks in CRM tools.

Prepare and submit daily/weekly call reports highlighting inbound volume, resolved queries, and lead conversion.

Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive customer information.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Communication Skills

Excellent verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, or regional language.

Ability to articulate clearly, actively listen, and respond with appropriate solutions.

Confident and friendly tone with a natural flair for conversation.
Sales & Lead Handling

Persuasive ability to identify and nurture leads during regular customer conversations.

Comfortable working with monthly or daily call and lead targets.

Ability to pitch offers, discounts, or services appropriately.
Customer Service Orientation

Strong sense of empathy and patience while addressing concerns.

Conflict resolution and active listening to defuse tense situations professionally.

Customer-first attitude and focus on long-term satisfaction.
Technical & Organizational Skills

Basic knowledge of call center software and CRM tools (preferred).

Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets for data entry and reporting.

Strong attention to detail in logging and updating call details accurately.
