Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Telecaller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective customers or receiving inbound inquiries with the aim of promoting our products and services, resolving customer queries, and generating leads. A telecaller must have excellent communication skills, strong persuasive abilities, and a customer-centric attitude.

The role requires the candidate to be patient, good at listening, and capable of handling rejection in a positive manner. A successful telecaller should be confident, goal-oriented, and driven by performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Outbound Calling:

    • Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to potential customers from a given database.

    • Explain the features and benefits of the products or services being offered.

    • Convince customers to purchase products, take a trial, or schedule appointments with sales representatives.

    • Follow pre-defined scripts when necessary, while also adapting the conversation to suit the customer.

  2. Inbound Calls:

    • Receive calls from customers and resolve inquiries or complaints in a timely manner.

    • Provide accurate information regarding products, services, or company policies.

    • Redirect calls to appropriate departments when needed.

  3. Lead Generation and Follow-up:

    • Generate qualified leads and maintain a database of potential customers.

    • Follow up with customers who showed interest in earlier calls.

    • Update CRM systems with details of interactions and follow-up actions required.

    • Set appointments or schedule meetings with senior sales personnel when needed.

  4. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by offering excellent service.

    • Ensure that customer queries and concerns are handled professionally and resolved promptly.

    • Collect customer feedback and forward it to the relevant departments.

  5. Data Management and Reporting:

    • Maintain and update customer databases, call records, and interaction histories.

    • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on call activities, lead status, and conversion rates.

    • Meet daily and monthly calling targets set by the management.

  6. Quality Assurance:

    • Adhere to quality control standards while dealing with customers.

    • Participate in regular training programs to improve communication skills and product knowledge.

    • Handle calls ethically and maintain confidentiality and integrity in all communications.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in [language(s) required – e.g., English, Hindi, regional languages].

  • Active listening and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.

  • Basic computer knowledge – MS Office, data entry, email communication, CRM tools.

  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets.

  • Time management and multitasking skills.
