Job Description
Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive, energetic, and customer-focused Telecaller to join our team. The role involves contacting customers, following up on inquiries, generating leads, handling sales and purchase bills, preparing purchase orders (POs), and managing basic data entry tasks.
The ideal candidate should possess good communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and a positive attitude. This role also offers an attractive incentive structure, where the candidate can earn 50% profit on successfully closed orders in addition to the fixed salary.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Calling & Follow-Up

Make outbound calls to existing and potential customers using company-provided data.

Follow up with customers regarding inquiries, pending orders, and ongoing deals.

Explain product details, pricing, and offers clearly and effectively.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business.
2. Lead Generation & Business Development
-
Generate sales opportunities through effective telecalling and customer interaction.

Identify potential buyers and pitch products or services based on customer requirements.

Maintain a record of interested customers and convert inquiries into confirmed sales.

Support the sales team in achieving monthly revenue targets.
3. Data Entry & Record Management
-
Accurately enter details of sales, purchase bills, and customer information into the company system.

Maintain a database of customer contacts, follow-ups, and order statuses.

Update stock availability, order tracking, and payment status regularly.
-
Ensure all records are well-organized and up-to-date for smooth operations.
4. Sales Bill Preparation
-
Create sales invoices for customer orders accurately and timely.
-
Ensure billing details such as item descriptions, quantities, prices, and taxes are correct.

Coordinate with the accounts and warehouse teams to ensure smooth dispatch and payment processing.

Share bills with customers and follow up for payment confirmations.
5. Purchase Order (PO) Creation
-
Prepare purchase orders based on customer requirements and product availability.

Verify order details, pricing, and delivery timelines before finalizing POs.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely procurement of products.

Ensure smooth communication between sales, procurement, and dispatch teams.
6. Reporting & Coordination

Provide daily and weekly reports to management on calls made, leads generated, and orders closed.

Collaborate with internal teams, including accounts, warehouse, and procurement, to ensure seamless workflow.

Share customer feedback and suggestions to improve services and products.

Attend regular meetings and training sessions to improve communication and sales skills.
Required Skills & Competencies
1. Communication Skills

Excellent verbal communication in Hindi, English, and/or regional languages.

Ability to convince, negotiate, and build trust with customers over the phone.

Active listening skills to understand customer needs effectively.
2. Computer Knowledge

Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and email handling.

Familiarity with billing software, CRM tools, or ERP systems will be an advantage.

Ability to maintain records and enter data accurately.
3. Sales & Negotiation Skills

Confidence in pitching products and closing deals successfully.

Ability to handle customer objections and provide suitable solutions.

Target-oriented mindset with a focus on maximizing business revenue.
4. Organizational Skills

Ability to manage sales, billing, purchase orders, and data entry tasks simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail to ensure billing and PO accuracy.
