Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and persuasive Telecaller to join our sales and marketing team. The primary responsibility of this role is to contact potential customers, introduce them to our financial products and services, and generate quality leads for the sales team.
The Telecaller will play a key role in the business development process by building initial relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs, and ensuring accurate lead qualification. This position is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, target-driven, and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Make outbound calls to potential customers to create awareness about financial products such as loans, credit cards, insurance, investments, and savings plans.

Understand customer profiles and assess their financial needs and eligibility.

Collect relevant information from customers to qualify leads for the sales team.

Maintain a steady flow of new leads to support the business development pipeline.
2. Customer Engagement

Communicate the features, benefits, and value propositions of financial products effectively.

Build rapport with customers to gain trust and encourage open discussions about their financial goals.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic doubts regarding products and services.

Ensure polite, professional, and empathetic communication at all times.
3. Coordination with Sales Team

Pass on verified leads to the sales and relationship managers for further follow-up.

Collaborate with the sales team to maximize conversion rates and achieve overall business goals.

Provide inputs and insights on customer feedback, objections, and requirements.
4. Data Management & Reporting
-
Maintain accurate and updated records of all calls, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system.

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on lead generation activities and performance.

Track follow-ups and ensure no potential leads are missed.
5. Compliance & Quality Standards

Follow all company policies, data protection rules, and financial regulations when handling customer information.

Ensure complete confidentiality and compliance with industry standards and legal guidelines.

Adhere to quality scripts and call guidelines to maintain high communication standards.
Required Skills & Competencies
1. Technical Skills

Basic understanding of financial products and services such as loans, insurance, mutual funds, or credit cards.

Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management systems (training will be provided if required).

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and basic data entry.
2. Communication Skills

Excellent verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and/or regional languages.

Ability to explain financial concepts in a simple and clear manner.

Active listening skills to understand customer requirements and tailor conversations accordingly.
3. Sales & Customer Handling Skills
