Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Cold call people using a given phone directory to sell Services or solicit donations
2. Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
3. Use scripts to provide information about product's features, prices, etc. and present their benefits
4. Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer's requirements
5. Record the customer's personal information accurately in a computer system
6. Deal with complaints or doubts to safeguard the company's reputation
7. Go the -extra mile- to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
8. Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information
9. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
10. Understand customer needs and requirements
11. Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
12. Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
13. Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
14. Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
15. Perform effective online demos to prospects
Requirements
1. Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
2. Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
3. Excellent verbal and written communications skills
4. Strong listening and presentation skills
5. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
