Telesales Associate
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Telecalling & Lead Management:
-
Make outbound calls to students and parents who have inquired through various channels such as websites, social media, walk-ins, education fairs, and referrals.

Receive inbound calls, provide information, and answer queries regarding overseas education, application procedures, countries, universities, programs, visa requirements, and more.
-
Maintain a high call volume on a daily basis while ensuring the quality of communication.

Schedule appointments and follow up with leads to ensure maximum conversions.
2. Counseling Support:
-
Understand the basic requirements of each student (such as desired course, preferred country, budget, academic background).

Share these details with the internal counseling team and schedule consultations accordingly.

Brief the students on the initial steps of the admission process and set realistic expectations.
3. CRM & Database Management:
-
Record all calls, responses, interactions, and feedback in the CRM system accurately.

Maintain and update a detailed database of prospective and existing clients.
-
Track the progress of each lead through the admissions pipeline and ensure timely follow-ups.
4. Marketing Campaigns & Events:
-
Support the team in marketing and promotional campaigns by reaching out to target audiences through telecalling.

Promote upcoming webinars, virtual or physical education fairs, university visits, and other events through phone outreach.

Assist in pre-event and post-event communication with students.
5. Feedback & Reporting:
-
Collect feedback from students regarding their interests, challenges, and expectations.

Share insights and feedback with the management to improve service offerings.

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on calls made, leads generated, and appointments scheduled.
Key Skills Required:
-
Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Additional proficiency in Hindi and Telugu languages is an added advantage.

Strong interpersonal skills – the ability to build rapport and maintain a positive and friendly tone on calls.

Active listening skills to understand the specific needs and concerns of prospective students.
-
Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple leads efficiently.
-
Basic computer knowledge and comfort in working with CRMs, MS Office, email, and online platforms.

Ability to work under pressure and meet daily/weekly targets.
