  • Responsible for calling people, businesses, and clients with the goal of selling them a product or service. Performs lead generation to create viable list, calls people, and follows up on prospects.
  • We are looking for an enthusiastic Telesales Representative to contribute in generating sales for our company. You will be responsible for closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships.
  • An effective telesales representative must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. They must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and doubts.
  • The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business.

Duties of a Telemarketer / Sales and Marketing:

  • Develop lists of prospects from city and telephone directories and other public records
  • Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers
  • Calls prospective customers in designated market area to qualify leads and explain type of product offered
  • Informs customers of promotions and new or upgraded products using prepared scripts
  • Quotes prices and closes sales
  • Processes customer orders and updates client information in computer database system
  • Follows up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems
  • Tracks daily, weekly, or monthly personal sales
  • Maintains phone time or sales quotas as determined by management

Professional Qualifications:

  • 0 – 1 years’ prior sales or telemarketing experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
