Job Summary
We are looking for a Telesales Executive who is motivated, persuasive, and goal-driven to join our sales team. The Telesales Executive is responsible for generating sales over the phone by contacting potential or existing customers, introducing products or services, answering queries, and closing sales deals. This position requires excellent communication skills, resilience under pressure, and a strong ability to influence customer decisions.
The role involves cold calling, lead conversion, follow-ups, and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive revenue growth. Success in this role will be measured by meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Generation

Conduct outbound calls to potential customers using a provided database or generated leads.

Pitch products or services clearly, confidently, and professionally.

Convince prospects to make a purchase or book an appointment/demonstration.

Upsell or cross-sell additional products and services as appropriate.
2. Lead Management

Follow up on warm leads generated by marketing or through incoming inquiries.

Qualify leads and assess customer needs, preferences, and purchasing ability.

Maintain a steady pipeline of prospects and update lead status in the CRM system.

Manage call schedules and follow-ups to convert leads into confirmed sales.
3. Customer Interaction

Respond to customer questions regarding products, pricing, and company policies.

Handle objections and resolve customer concerns with patience and professionalism.

Provide detailed information on products and services to help customers make informed decisions.

Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
4. Reporting & CRM Updates

Document call outcomes, customer details, and order information accurately in the system.

Submit daily, weekly, or monthly performance reports as required by the manager.

Track personal sales metrics and work towards individual and team targets.
5. Collaboration & Teamwork

Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and customer service teams to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and coaching to improve sales techniques.

Share insights about customer trends or feedback to support strategic planning.
