Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts.
  • Answer questions about products or the company.
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.
  • Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed.
  • Enter and update customer information in the database.
  • Take and process orders in an accurate manner.
  • Work to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales via a minimum of 200 cold calls a day.
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.
  • Accurately recording and processing details of customers’ purchase orders.
  • Managing customer accounts by ensuring that existing customers remain satisfied with company products and services.
  • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of customer products and services to make suitable recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences.


    Requirements:

  • High school diploma. Bachelor's or associate degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role.
  • Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone.
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Office) and telephone systems.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.
  • Must be fluent in English, Hindi and preferably Marathi.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
