Job Overview
A Telesales Executive is responsible for promoting products and services over the phone and driving sales through effective communication and customer engagement. The role involves reaching out to potential customers, understanding their needs, explaining offerings, and closing sales deals. The candidate should be persuasive, target-oriented, and customer-focused, with strong communication skills.
This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy speaking with people, building rapport quickly, and achieving measurable sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
A. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Make outbound calls to potential customers from the provided database.

Identify and qualify leads based on customer needs and interest.

Maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients through regular follow-ups.

Build a deep understanding of the company’s products/services to pitch effectively.
B. Sales & Customer Engagement

Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.

Explain product features, benefits, and pricing clearly and convincingly.

Handle objections and questions from customers professionally and confidently.

Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by the management.

Upsell and cross-sell related products/services wherever applicable.
C. Follow-Up & Customer Retention

Maintain regular follow-ups with interested leads to convert them into sales.

Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.

Update customers about new offers, promotions, and product launches.
D. Reporting & Documentation

Record details of calls, inquiries, leads, and conversions accurately in the CRM.

Generate and submit daily/weekly sales reports to the team leader or manager.

Analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements in sales strategies.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills

Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, email, CRM tools).

Familiarity with telecalling systems and lead management software is an advantage.
