Telesales Executive
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and persuasive Telesales Executive to join our growing sales team. As a Telesales Executive, you will be responsible for contacting potential customers over the phone, understanding their needs, and persuading them to buy products or services, book appointments, or visit our facility (depending on the business).
You will be the voice of the company, playing a key role in building customer trust, generating leads, converting sales, and achieving daily/weekly targets. The role requires excellent communication skills, patience, persistence, and the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Calling

Make outbound calls to potential customers from provided or sourced databases

Engage clients by explaining the features, benefits, and value of our products/services

Answer questions, handle objections, and clarify doubts to build interest and trust

Maintain a friendly, professional tone while handling multiple calls per day

Maintain a call-to-conversion ratio as per company benchmarks
2. Lead Generation and Conversion

Qualify leads based on customer interest, budget, and requirements

Convince potential customers to take the next step—such as scheduling a demo, appointment, or making a purchase

Follow up on previous calls or inquiries to nurture leads

Keep detailed records of interactions, follow-ups, and outcomes using CRM tools or Excel
3. Sales Support and Coordination

Coordinate with the field sales team, digital team, or branch staff for lead handover or visit scheduling

Update lead status regularly and escalate critical leads to managers if necessary
-
Share feedback from prospects to improve product pitch or offerings

Maintain high-quality standards for call scripts, tone, and professionalism
4. Target Achievement

Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly calling and conversion targets
-
Participate in training, feedback, and performance reviews to improve productivity

Maintain consistent performance across KPIs such as number of calls, talk time, conversions, etc.
5. Data and Reporting

Maintain updated and accurate records of call logs, leads, and sales using Excel, CRM, or company-specific software

Generate daily call reports and sales reports for internal use

Flag duplicate or invalid numbers, and suggest improvements in the calling database
Required Skills & Competencies:
