Job Description
Job Summary:
The Telesales Executive position is a training-based role designed to provide hands-on experience in outbound sales and client engagement through telephone-based communication. Interns will learn to generate leads, interact with prospective customers, pitch products or services, and assist the sales team in achieving their targets.
This is an ideal opportunity for students or fresh graduates who want to build a foundation in sales, marketing, customer interaction, and communication skills—especially in fast-paced industries such as real estate, insurance, e-commerce, or education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation:

Research and identify potential customers through online platforms, databases, or provided leads.

Call prospective clients to introduce the company’s products or services.

Gather basic information about the customer’s interests and requirements.
2. Cold Calling & Customer Interaction:

Make outbound calls to leads and prospects on a daily basis as per calling targets.

Present the product/service in a structured and professional manner over the phone.

Explain features, benefits, pricing, or promotional offers clearly.
3. Appointment Setting & Follow-up:

Schedule appointments, demos, or follow-up calls for the senior sales team.

Maintain communication with warm leads to move them further down the sales funnel.

Update the status of each lead in the CRM or tracking sheet regularly.
4. Data Entry & CRM Management:

Maintain accurate records of calls made, outcomes, and customer feedback.

Update databases and spreadsheets with client contact information and status.

Learn and utilize CRM or telecalling tools under guidance.
5. Market Feedback & Reporting:

Collect and record customer responses, objections, and suggestions.

Share insights with the sales or marketing team for strategy improvement.

Submit daily/weekly reports on call volume, leads contacted, and conversion progress.
6. Training & Skill Development:

Participate in training sessions on product knowledge, telesales techniques, objection handling, and communication.

Work under the mentorship of experienced sales executives or managers.

Receive feedback on calls and performance to help improve skills.
