Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and persuasive Telesales Executive to join our sales team. The role involves making outbound calls to potential customers, introducing them to our products or services, addressing inquiries, and converting leads into sales. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a sales-driven mindset, and the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.

As a Telesales Executive, you will play a vital role in generating revenue, expanding our customer base, and delivering a positive brand experience through excellent telephonic interaction. The position demands goal-oriented performance, effective objection handling, and consistent follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Outbound Sales Calling

  • Make daily outbound calls to potential or existing customers using a script or pitch deck.

  • Present products or services in a persuasive and professional manner.

  • Understand the customer's needs and offer tailored solutions to convert them into buyers.

  • Maintain a high volume of calls and manage call lists provided by the company.

2. Lead Generation and Conversion

  • Follow up on leads generated through digital campaigns, referrals, or website inquiries.

  • Qualify leads by asking relevant questions and understanding the customer’s intent.

  • Guide prospects through the sales funnel—from inquiry to deal closure.

  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their preferences and addressing their concerns.

  • Provide after-sales support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Encourage repeat business and referrals by maintaining a professional rapport.

4. Data Management and Reporting

  • Record all customer interactions, feedback, and sales outcomes in the CRM system or call tracker.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date call logs and lead status.

  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales performance, call metrics, and follow-up actions.

5. Objection Handling and Negotiation

  • Address customer objections with clarity, product knowledge, and empathy.

  • Offer product comparisons, benefits, and customer testimonials to increase confidence in the offering.

  • Negotiate pricing (if applicable) and explain payment plans, delivery timelines, or service terms clearly.

6. Collaboration and Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal teams such as marketing, product, operations, or customer service for smooth onboarding.

  • Share customer insights and objections with the marketing or product team for campaign optimization or product improvement.

  • Attend training sessions and team meetings to keep updated on offerings and techniques.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications is preferred.

  • Minimum years of experience in telesales, telemarketing, customer service, or inside sales.

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English; fluency in local/regional languages is an added advantage.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and basic computer operations (Excel, Word, Email).
