Telesales Executive
Job Description
- Make outgoing calls to customers to advise them of products and services that may be of interest to them.
- Take customer information and update it in the database as required.
- Put through relevant sales and contracts for sales of goods or services.
- Explain products and service features to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:

Identify and research potential customers through leads provided, cold calling, and lead generation activities.

Develop and maintain a customer database of potential clients for follow-up calls and sales opportunities.

Qualify leads by identifying potential customer needs, challenges, and how the company’s products or services can help.

Set up appointments or demos for the sales team when required.
2. Sales and Revenue Generation:

Conduct outbound calls to potential customers and promote the company’s products or services.

Persuade prospects to purchase products or services by highlighting the features, benefits, and advantages.

Handle incoming calls and inquiries from customers interested in purchasing products or services.

Close sales over the phone by successfully addressing objections and answering queries from potential clients.

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance goals.
3. Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer queries, providing product information, and resolving issues.

Keep customers informed about the latest product updates, promotions, or offers.

Manage customer objections and concerns tactfully to maintain a positive relationship.
4. Product Knowledge and Market Understanding:

Stay up-to-date with the company’s products, services, pricing, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.

Understand the competitive landscape and market trends to position the company’s offerings as the best solution.

Customize sales pitches and presentations based on customer needs and interests.
5. Record Keeping and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales, and leads using CRM systems or sales tools.

Report daily/weekly/monthly sales activities, conversion rates, and sales results to the Sales Manager or team leader.

Document customer feedback, objections, and potential areas for product or service improvement.
6. Follow-up and After-Sales Support:

Follow up with leads or customers who have shown interest but have not yet made a purchase.

Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and identify any additional opportunities.

Work with the customer support team to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
7. Continuous Improvement:

Continuously improve sales techniques by seeking feedback from peers, supervisors, and customers.

Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Contribute to the improvement of sales strategies and customer engagement approaches.
