Job Description
Job Summary:
The Telesales Executive plays a critical role in the sales process by engaging potential and existing customers over the phone to promote and sell products or services. This position demands excellent communication skills, a persuasive attitude, and a customer-centric approach to achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth. The Telesales Executive is responsible for generating leads, managing customer relationships, and closing sales, all while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction and Lead Generation:

Proactively contact potential customers via telephone to introduce and promote products or services.

Qualify leads by understanding customer needs and requirements.

Use a customer database or CRM system to track interactions, update records, and manage follow-up activities.

Identify new sales opportunities and generate leads through cold calling, referrals, and follow-up calls.

Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and convert them into sales opportunities.

Sales Process Management:

Present products and services to customers effectively, highlighting key features and benefits.

Explain product specifications, pricing, and promotions clearly and accurately.

Handle objections and queries professionally, using negotiation skills to close sales.

Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.

Upsell and cross-sell additional products or services to maximize revenue.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s offerings and industry trends to provide accurate information.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.

Maintain a positive and professional attitude during all customer interactions.

Coordinate with internal departments such as marketing, logistics, and customer support to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of calls made, sales achieved, and customer feedback.

Prepare regular reports on sales performance, challenges, and market feedback for management review.

Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and suggest improvements.

Comply with company policies and legal regulations related to telemarketing and data privacy.

Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Background:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. -
Experience:
Prior experience in telesales, telemarketing, or customer service roles is highly desirable. Experience in a similar industry or product line can be an advantage. -
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and clearly. Good listening skills to understand customer needs and tailor responses accordingly. -
Sales Skills:
Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities. Ability to handle objections and turn potential negatives into sales opportunities. -

Technical Skills:
