Job Description
Overview
A Telesales Executive is responsible for generating sales and building customer relationships over the phone. This role involves contacting potential or existing customers to promote products or services, follow up on inquiries, and close sales deals. Telesales Executives work in various industries, including retail, finance, technology, and telecommunications.

Key Responsibilities
1. Outbound Sales Calling

Generate leads and convert inquiries into confirmed sales.

2. Inbound Call Handling

Resolve objections and provide information to encourage sales closure.

Cross-sell or upsell additional products when possible.
3. Sales Target Achievement

Work consistently to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.

Maintain a high level of motivation and drive to convert every interaction into a successful sale.

Track sales metrics and report performance to supervisors or sales managers.
4. Customer Relationship Management

Build rapport and maintain professional relationships with customers.

Listen actively to understand customer requirements and feedback.

Maintain a customer database (CRM) with accurate and up-to-date information.

Follow up on leads, previous calls, or missed opportunities as required.
5. Product Knowledge and Training

Stay informed about product or service updates, promotions, and changes.

Participate in training programs, workshops, and coaching sessions.

Continuously improve knowledge of sales techniques, market trends, and competitors.
6. Handling Complaints and Objections

Address customer concerns or objections calmly and professionally.

Ensure a positive customer experience, even when the sale is not achieved.
7. Administrative Duties

Keep detailed and accurate records of calls, conversations, and outcomes.

Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports as requested.
