Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly energetic and results-driven Telesales Executive to join our insurance sales team. The candidate will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential clients, promoting various insurance products (life, health, motor, etc.), and converting leads into customers. This role plays a vital part in the sales cycle by generating interest, addressing customer needs, and closing policies over the phone.
This position offers a fixed salary with attractive incentives based on performance. It is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, persuasive, and passionate about building a career in insurance and financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Telecalling

Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to prospective customers from the provided database or CRM.

Explain various insurance products clearly, including their benefits, premiums, terms, and claim process.

Identify customer needs and recommend suitable insurance plans (life, term, health, etc.).
2. Lead Conversion

Follow up on leads generated through online portals, social media, or walk-ins.

Convert cold or warm leads into active sales through persuasive communication.

Close the sales over phone or schedule appointments for documentation and verification.
3. Customer Relationship

Build rapport with clients to promote repeat business and long-term customer relationships.

Handle customer queries, objections, and concerns professionally and effectively.

Maintain a positive, helpful, and solution-oriented approach with all customers.
4. Data Management and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, and customer details in CRM or Excel.

Ensure daily updates of lead status, follow-ups, and conversions in sales tracker or reporting tool.

Share daily/weekly performance reports with team leads or sales manager.
5. Compliance and Quality

Adhere to all company policies and regulatory norms (IRDA guidelines for insurance selling).

Ensure proper disclosure of policy features, terms, and exclusions to customers.

Participate in periodic training and upskilling sessions related to insurance products and compliance.
