Job Overview
We are seeking a Telesales Executive to sell insurance policies to potential customers over the phone. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and persuasion skills, a strong understanding of insurance products, and the ability to build relationships with clients. This role involves cold calling, explaining policy benefits, handling objections, and closing sales while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Contact potential customers via outbound calls, emails, and SMS.
- Identify and qualify insurance sales leads from databases and referrals.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance policies.
2. Sales & Conversion
- Explain the features, benefits, and terms of various life, health, motor, or general insurance policies.
- Convince potential clients to purchase insurance policies based on their needs.
- Handle objections, clarify doubts, and close sales effectively.
- Follow up with leads to increase conversion rates.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain a strong relationship with existing policyholders for renewals and upselling.
- Address customer queries and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Provide guidance on claims procedures and policy renewals.
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all sales are conducted ethically and as per regulatory guidelines.
- Collect and verify customer information for policy issuance.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, calls, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
5. Sales Reporting & Target Achievement
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide daily/weekly reports on sales performance and customer feedback.
- Stay updated on insurance industry trends, policies, and competitor offerings.
