Job Description
Position Summary
The Telesales Executive is responsible for handling outbound and/or inbound sales calls, presenting product and service details clearly, and generating leads for the field or inside sales team. The candidate will engage potential customers, understand their needs, offer suitable solutions, and ensure follow-up coordination for successful conversion.
The role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and a target-driven approach. The ideal candidate must be professional, persuasive, and customer-focused.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Communication

Make outbound calls to potential customers using company databases, marketing lists, or cold calling scripts.

Accurately present information about the company’s products or services, highlighting key features, benefits, and pricing.

Understand customer requirements, answer queries clearly, and guide them toward suitable products.
Lead Generation & Follow-Up

Identify and qualify genuine sales leads based on customer interest, needs, and eligibility.

Enter accurate lead details in the CRM or lead management system.

Schedule callbacks or follow-up calls to nurture prospects until they are ready to be converted.

Coordinate and hand over warm leads to the sales or field team.
Sales Coordination

Communicate regularly with sales team members regarding lead status, follow-up outcomes, and customer preferences.

Provide timely updates on leads that require on-site meetings, demos, or further negotiation.

Track and manage lead lifecycle to ensure conversions and timely closure of opportunities.
Product Knowledge

Maintain up-to-date and accurate knowledge of all company products, services, pricing, and offers.

Attend training sessions to stay informed about product updates, features, and competitive positioning.

Use product knowledge to suggest the right solution based on each customer’s needs.
Documentation & CRM Management

Accurately record call logs, customer interactions, lead status, and follow-up details in the CRM system.

Ensure customer data is updated and organized for easy reference by team members.

Generate and share call summary or lead reports with management as required.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

Maintain a polite, respectful, and professional tone during all customer interactions.

Build trust and rapport with potential customers to improve lead conversion chances.

Handle initial objections, provide clarifications, and transfer complex queries to the appropriate department.
