Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Telesales Executive to join our dynamic sales and support team. In this role, you will make and receive calls to assist customers with inquiries, handle complaints, generate leads, and close sales. Your main objective is to provide a positive customer experience, resolve issues efficiently, and drive revenue growth through proactive telesales efforts.

Whether you’re responding to queries or reaching out to potential customers, your focus will be on delivering exceptional service while meeting daily and monthly targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Interaction

Make outbound calls to potential or existing customers to introduce products, follow up on inquiries, or convert leads into sales.

Receive inbound calls from customers seeking support, information, or assistance with products and services.

Actively listen to customers, understand their needs, and provide appropriate solutions or product recommendations.

Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, aiming to resolve them in a single interaction whenever possible.
2. Sales and Lead Generation

Promote products or services by clearly explaining features, benefits, and pricing.

Convert inquiries into qualified leads and close sales through effective persuasion and negotiation techniques.

Upsell and cross-sell products/services where applicable to maximize revenue per customer interaction.

Follow up with potential customers via phone or email to nurture leads and drive conversions.
3. Data and Record Management

Accurately record all customer interactions, sales details, and feedback in the company’s CRM or call management system.

Maintain up-to-date records of call outcomes, customer preferences, and any unresolved issues for future follow-up.

Track call volumes, customer satisfaction levels, and sales performance metrics.
4. Escalation and Issue Resolution

Identify issues that cannot be resolved at the front line and escalate them to the appropriate team or department (e.g., technical support, billing, operations).

Ensure timely resolution of escalated issues and follow up with the customer until closure.

Document escalation cases for future reference and quality control.
5. Service Excellence and Quality Assurance

Strive to provide outstanding customer service in every interaction by maintaining a polite, helpful, and professional tone.

Adhere to call scripts, compliance policies, and company standards during all interactions.

Participate in training sessions and quality audits to continuously improve service delivery and customer experience.
6. Performance and Target Achievement

Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics such as number of calls, lead conversions, sales targets, and first-call resolution rate.

Take ownership of personal targets while contributing to team goals and performance improvement initiatives.

Provide feedback to management on common customer issues, market trends, and opportunities for service improvement.
Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills in the required languages (English, Hindi, regional languages).

Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining composure and quality.

Confident, persuasive, and customer-oriented with a positive attitude.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and call management tools.
