Job Summary:
A Telesales Executive is a customer-facing professional responsible for generating sales through outbound and inbound phone calls. The role primarily focuses on reaching out to potential customers, explaining the benefits of products or services, addressing their concerns, and persuading them to make a purchase or take desired actions. Telesales Executives play a crucial role in supporting a company’s sales strategy, achieving revenue targets, and building strong customer relationships over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Sales Calls:

Make outbound calls to prospective customers using a contact list or database.

Persuade customers to make purchases by clearly explaining product features, pricing, benefits, and offers.

Follow sales scripts while tailoring conversations based on customer profiles and responses.

2. Inbound Call Handling:

Respond to incoming inquiries from customers regarding products, pricing, and services.

Convert incoming calls into sales opportunities whenever possible.

Resolve queries efficiently and escalate more complex issues to relevant departments.
3. Customer Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions.

Handle objections and rejections gracefully, aiming to turn resistance into positive responses.

Follow up with leads and existing customers for repeat business or feedback.
4. Sales Target Achievement:

Work towards monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Monitor personal sales performance and report results to the team leader or sales manager.

Actively participate in performance reviews and coaching sessions to enhance sales techniques and productivity.

Stay motivated and focused on achieving both individual and team KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
5. Market and Product Knowledge:

Stay updated on product offerings, features, pricing, and promotions.

Understand industry trends and competitor products to better position the company’s offerings.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of all calls, sales activities, customer data, and follow-up schedules in CRM tools or internal databases.

Generate reports on daily, weekly, and monthly call activities and conversion rates.

Ensure all data handling follows company policies and data protection regulations.
