Telesales Executive
Job Description
- Interacting via various channels, such as live chat, emails, social media and direct calls
- Modifying sales pitches in response to customer demand
- Acquiring and retaining contact information databases
- Put forward suggestions in accordance with the requirements of the consumer
- Ensure a smooth procedure for the consumer by transferring windows of opportunity to the appropriate department for further action
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Calling & Lead Generation

Make outbound calls to prospective customers from provided data lists or generated leads.

Introduce and explain products or services offered by the company in a clear and convincing manner.

Understand customer needs and offer solutions or suggestions tailored to those needs.

Generate interest, qualify leads, and set up appointments or follow-ups for the sales team.
2. Inbound Sales Handling

Handle incoming calls from prospective customers interested in the company’s products or services.

Provide information, resolve queries, and attempt to close sales during the call.

Convert inquiries into successful sales while maintaining customer satisfaction.
3. Sales Target Achievement

Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and call quotas.

Follow up with leads consistently to convert them into paying customers.

Keep track of pipeline performance and actively pursue new sales opportunities.
4. Customer Relationship Management
-
Build rapport with customers through friendly, engaging communication.

Maintain long-term relationships with repeat customers and encourage upselling or cross-selling.

Handle objections and rejections professionally, converting “no” into “yes” when possible.
5. Product Knowledge
-
Stay updated with product features, benefits, pricing, and promotional offers.

Communicate any new updates or features to potential clients.

Explain technical or complex features in a simple, relatable manner to non-technical customers.
6. Data Entry and CRM Management
-
Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, customer interactions, and sales in CRM or internal databases.

Update customer details and call status regularly.

Generate and submit daily/weekly sales reports to team leads or managers.
7. Team Collaboration and Feedback

Participate in team meetings, training programs, and product briefings.

Share customer feedback and market trends with the sales and marketing teams.

Collaborate with field sales representatives and marketing teams when needed.
