Job Summary:
A Telesales Executive is responsible for making outbound phone calls to potential or existing customers with the aim of selling products or services. This role combines excellent communication skills, sales knowledge, and customer service to close deals or generate qualified leads for the field sales team.
The Telesales Executive must be persuasive, persistent, and professional, with a passion for meeting sales targets. They are typically the first point of contact between the customer and the company, making it a crucial role in the sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Calling:

Make daily outbound calls to leads provided by the company or sourced through other channels.

Introduce the company’s products or services and explain their features and benefits.

Persuade customers to make a purchase or schedule a follow-up with a sales representative.
2. Lead Qualification:

Assess the customer’s needs and qualify leads based on predefined criteria.

Identify decision-makers, budget availability, and level of interest.

Forward high-quality leads to the sales team for further conversion.
3. Customer Relationship Management:

Build rapport with potential customers by engaging in active listening and addressing their concerns.

Provide product recommendations tailored to customer requirements.

Follow up on previous interactions and maintain ongoing communication for future sales opportunities.
4. Sales Conversion:

Handle objections confidently and address customer hesitations.

Offer deals, discounts, or special promotions to increase conversion rates (as applicable).

Close sales over the phone and guide customers through payment or order processes.
5. CRM and Reporting:

Accurately record all interactions, feedback, and outcomes in the CRM system.

Maintain a clean and updated database of customers and prospects.

Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on calls made, leads generated, and sales achieved.
6. Product Knowledge and Training:

Stay updated on the latest product offerings, features, prices, and market trends.

Participate in regular training sessions to improve selling techniques and product understanding.
7. Target Achievement:

Meet or exceed assigned daily, weekly, or monthly sales targets and KPIs.
