TERI University invite Applications for the post of Research Associate / Associate Fellow
Division: Sustainable Buildings
Job Profile: The candidate is expected to work closely with the group of researchers part of the Sustainable Buildings Division to provide innovative, integrated, and cost-effective solutions to mainstream the principles of sustainability in the buildings sector.
She/he is expected to undertake the following:
- Carry out research on the existing and upcoming projects of the Area in the field of green buildings, energy efficient electrical/ HVAC systems, energy optimization, lighting systems and controls, automation etc.
- Carry out building energy/lighting simulations and analyse results pertaining to the requirement of the project.
- Conduct primary and secondary research to timely deliver quality outputs such as reports, policy briefs, presentations, articles, etc. aligned to the intent of the assigned project.
- Identify and communicate extensively with the stakeholders to build networks, develop partnerships, and organise meetings/conferences.
- Identification of relevant areas for future research, sources of funding, and lead the development of new proposals and projects for expansion of research strategies within the Area.
- Initiation and submission of proposal grants and competitive bids in-line with the vision and goals of the Area.
- Willingness to travel whenever needed.
- Publication of impactful research papers, reports, and articles.
Experience: 1 - 4 years
Qualification: M. Tech/M.A./M.Sc. having a background in Mechanical/Electrical
Skills:
- Total work experience of 1-4 years in building energy efficiency and regulatory aspects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills,
