Job Description
- Job Role: Territory Business Manager
- Reporting to: Sales Coordinator/General Manager
- Experience: 3+ Years
- The role of a Territory Business Manager is one of the most important roles in the organization.
- From acquiring a customer to maintaining a healthy relationship, the TBM will be responsible for all aspects of client relationship.
- The selected TBM will get the opportunity to work with schools and shall play a major role in understanding the loan requirements of the school, recommend a suitable solution, walk through the process of credit appraisal which involves document collection and security creation and then nurture the relationship for the entire loan tenor.
- The TBM will also get an opportunity to offer various third party solutions to existing customers that will help improve the quality of the school.
- Work in the designated geographic area and convert eligible schools into prospects for loan generation.
- Act as a first point contact to the customer for all his document submission requirements both before sanction and disbursement of the loan.
- Ensure proper end use of funds disbursed as per the project plan submitted by the school owner.
- Monthly relationship visits to all the schools in the portfolio. Work closely with the school owners by regularly visiting them and understanding the dynamics of each school in the portfolio. Develop good rapport with the school owner.
- Generate prospects for repeat / follow on loans from the existing customers.
- Ensure all schools in the portfolio are current on payments, with no delinquency.
- Marketing vendor products to the existing loan relationships and achieving cross sell targets related to these products.
- Take initiative in understanding the needs of school owners and guide the organization in new product development.
- 3-5 years of sales/relationship experience at the same location in financial services (TASC, SME, Retail Loans, etc) or in education sector
- Preference will be given to people who have worked with schools and have a flair for relationship management
- Post Graduation in Business Management or relevant field preferred but not mandatory; minimum requirement is that of a First Class Graduate Degree from a reputed institute
- Should have good analytical and report writing skills; proficiency in using computer is essential
- Should have good presentation and client handling skills
- Good communication skills, local language knowledge essential
- Desired Age about 28 yrs.
