Job Description
Job Summary:
A Territory Sales Executive/Manager is responsible for managing sales activities within a specified geographical area or territory. The role involves developing relationships with customers, increasing sales revenue, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring effective execution of company sales strategies at the ground level.
The individual acts as the key point of contact between the company and the customers within the territory, often working independently and traveling extensively to achieve targets and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Revenue Generation:

Identify potential customers and develop sales plans to achieve territory sales targets.

Promote company products or services to existing and new customers within the assigned territory.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets consistently.

Prepare and present sales quotations and negotiate prices and contracts.
2. Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and end customers.

Provide excellent post-sale service and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Address and resolve customer queries, complaints, or issues promptly and effectively.
3. Market and Competitor Analysis:

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences within the territory.

Gather market intelligence and feedback to help improve products, pricing, and marketing strategies.

Report insights to the regional or national sales teams for strategic planning.
4. Territory Management and Planning:

Plan daily, weekly, and monthly routes and schedules to maximize sales coverage and efficiency.

Maintain records of sales activities, customer contacts, and territory progress.

Ensure optimal stock levels with distributors and retailers to avoid stockouts or overstock.
5. Coordination and Reporting:

Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and product teams to ensure availability and timely delivery.

Report sales figures, forecasts, and customer feedback to management regularly.

Participate in training programs, sales meetings, and promotional events organized by the company.
