Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Test Lead to join our Agile team. The
ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, a deep understanding
of the software testing lifecycle, and a passion for ensuring high-quality software
delivery. As a Test Lead, you will play a key role in leading the QA team, identifying
issues, improving processes, and contributing to product innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
â¢Mandatory:- ISTQB certified profiles only
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers to ensure high-quality software
delivery.
â¢Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Python,
Selenium, Robot Framework, or Playwright.
â¢Participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, defect
tracking, and reporting.
â¢Utilize test management tools such as JIRA and Confluence to document test cases,
track defects, and collaborate with team members.
â¢Perform manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of software applications.
â¢Conduct API testing (preferred) and integrate it into the automation suite.
â¢Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, documentation teams, and product
owners to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
â¢Think from the userâs perspective to identify potential usability issues and ensure a
seamless user experience.
â¢Apply strong analytical skills to identify risk areas, estimate testing scope, and ask
critical questions to improve product quality.
â¢Continuously assess and improve testing processes and contribute to process
improvement initiatives.
â¢Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
â¢Proven experience (6+ years preferred) as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
â¢Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect management, and types of
testing.
â¢Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting in Python.
â¢Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
â¢Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
â¢Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Nice to Have:
â¢Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
â¢Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
â¢Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plus.
