About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Managing end to end sourcing/ designing & manufacturing of sarees
2. Identifying vendors, order/rejects/sampling/production management
3. Ensuring the quality of samples/production is excellent and managing any quality issues
4. Ensuring category sales increases month on month and looking at sales channel expansion for the category
5. Coordinating with the creative team for shoots and banners for category promotions
6. Creating/uploading catalog sheets on the website and external channels to take live new products
7. Maintaining category master sheets
8. Figuring out vendors for category packaging, tags, etc.
9. Taking ownership of category launch

Candidate profile:

1. Graduate from NIFT or any other design college with a keen interest in Indian textiles & fabrics, textile design, fashion design, and apparel technology
2. Excellent communication & negotiation skills
3. Proactive & High on energy
4. Should be good at multitasking and ready to work in an intense startup environment
5. Candidates based out of Bangalore or who can join immediately will be given preference

Other requirements

1. Graduates from any design college like NIFT, Pearl, JD, Vogue, SOFT, etc with a degree or experience in fashion design, fashion merchandising

2. Good understanding of fabrics, handloom, and Indian textiles

3. Good communication skills in Hindi & English

4. Excellent negotiation & convincing skills

5. Good team player & proactive attitude

6. Candidates out of Bangalore will be given preference
