Project Title : “Advancing Communication For development (C4D) as a strategy for Social Change in Assam and North East Region”

Qualification : Masters in Social Sciences from a recognized University (applicants with Mass Communication background may be preferred). Those with prior experience of working in a development project/research will be given due weightage. Candidates with NET will be preferred. Desirable qualities: Creative flair for writing and documentation; skills in reporting, presentation and synthesis; editorial and translation skills and ability to develop case study reports. While superior English competence is an absolute essential, we also expect a good grasp of spoken Hindi and Assamese. A reasonable familiarity with the development issues relevant to northeast India would be an asset. We do not wish the position to be purely desk-based and believe that someone with a passion for travel in uncommon conditions and willingness to engage with wide variety of rural and urban milieus will do very well in this role.
Remuneration : Rs. 20,000.00
Duration : 08 (eight) months or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
