Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Delivery:

Teach French language classes to students from Grades VI to X (or as assigned), following the prescribed syllabus and curriculum.

Design and implement lesson plans that meet language acquisition goals and follow academic standards.

Incorporate speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in daily lessons.

Use interactive teaching methods to make learning enjoyable and effective for students of varying linguistic backgrounds.
2. Classroom Management:
-
Create a positive and respectful classroom environment that encourages participation and learning.

Maintain discipline and manage classroom behavior in accordance with the school's code of conduct.

Monitor student attendance, performance, and engagement regularly.
3. Student Assessment and Reporting:
-
Prepare class tests, assignments, quizzes, oral exams, and periodic assessments to evaluate student progress.

Maintain detailed records of each student’s academic development and provide constructive feedback.

Prepare report cards, participate in parent-teacher meetings, and communicate academic concerns as needed.
4. Language and Cultural Exposure:

Encourage students to explore French culture through songs, videos, festivals, dialogues, and projects.

Organize French language activities such as language clubs, exhibitions, quizzes, or skits.

Promote exchange programs or correspondence with French-speaking schools or students, if available.
5. Academic Coordination:

Collaborate with colleagues and the Head of the Language Department to ensure alignment of learning objectives across grades.

Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and co-curricular integration efforts.

Stay updated with curriculum changes, board guidelines, and teaching techniques in foreign language education.
6. Co-curricular Participation:

Take active part in school events, functions, and celebrations.

Accompany students for educational trips, competitions, or cultural exchanges if required.

Encourage student participation in inter-school or in-house French language contests.
7. Professional Development:

Attend teacher training programs, workshops, seminars, and other development activities offered by the school or external agencies.

Stay current with developments in foreign language pedagogy, assessment strategies, and technology integration.
