THE INTERN – INFORMATION DEVELOPER

Qualifications :
- Basic technical writing skills.
- A basic understanding of the documentation development process, the software development process, and product lifecycles.
- Aptitude to quickly learn and document the use, features, and benefits of software products and solutions for technical audiences. Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with globally-distributed and culturally-diverse departments.
- Ability to manage individual documentation responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain professionalism when representing IDD.
- Characteristics: professional, high energy, strong technical aptitude, flexible, independent, detail-oriented, self-starter, good follow-through, willingness to accept responsibility and accountability, willingness to accept assignments as dictated by the needs of the business, and a strong commitment to teamwork.
Education : At minimum, a Technical Communications certificate, or equivalent experience in a technical writing field. Prefer a B.A degree English, Technical Communication, or Journalism.
