Thematic Specialist recruitment in Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of women (TNCDW) through Direct recruitment

Thematic Specialist-Social Mobilization & Institution Development

Qualification: The minimum educational requirement for the position is Two year full time Post graduate diploma in Management / MBA (or) Masters in any other relevant discipline with 5 years of experience in Community Development (or) Graduate from government recognised institutes with 8 years of experience in Social Development work with poverty reduction programmes of considerable size and scale.

COMPETENCIES: Experience of working with large scale poverty reduction programme, especially at grass root level will be given preference. Experience of working with government institutions will be preference. The person should have acknowledged capabilities in partnership management; strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking skills, ability to handle large scale planning; handling MIS etc., Proficient with MS office.

Thematic Specialist - SKILLS AND LIVELIHOODS

Qualification: The minimum educational requirement for the position is Two year full time Post graduate diploma in Management/ MBA (or) Masters in any other relevant discipline with 5 years of experience in Community Development (or) Graduate from government recognised institutes with 8 years of experience in implementation of skill training and placement programmes with considerable size and scale

COMPETENCIES: Experience of working with skill training and employment programmes/project in the state. Experience of working with industry/industry associations will be given preference. The person should have experience in partnership management, large scale planning and monitoring activities, building strategy, handling MIS; and should also possess negotiation skills, strong analytical skills; multiple stakeholder coordination, etc. Strong conceptual thinking, creative ability and marketing and branding experience. Proficient with MS office.

Thematic Specialist - FINANCIAL INCLUSION AND MICRO ENTERPRISES

Qualification: The minimum educational requirement for the position is Two year full time Post graduate diploma in Management/ MBA (or) Masters in any other relevant discipline with 5 years of experience in Community Development (Or) Graduate from government recognised institutes with 8 years of experience in dealing with credit linkages, social security and/or micro enterprises promotion in poverty reduction programmes/ financial institutions

COMPETENCIES: Essential o Experience of working with poverty reduction programme/ projects. Ability to understand, hand hold and nurture micro enterprises. o Proficient with MS office, strong written and oral communication skills, strong ability to document, create reports and make presentations.

Desirable :The person should have acknowledged capabilities in partnership management; excellent negotiation skills; strong analytical skills; ability to handle large scale planning; developing theme based capacity building strategy; handling MIS etc. o Entrepreneurial background or previous VC / grass roots investor background desirable o High degree of interest and empathy in understanding the unique issues of the urban poor Background in grass roots social work (NSS, Adult literacy programme participation, Counselling, etc)

Other : Good communication and writing skills in English and Tamil.
