Scientific Officer (D) /1 UR

Qualification : Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry or Biology or in a related field with a thesis topic concerning Biochemistry or Biophysics. Experience : Two years experience in relevant field.Desirable : Experience in one or more of the following : i) Peptide synthesis, purification and characterization. (ii) Cell Culture and high end microscopy. (iii) Optics and laser spectroscopy. Should be capable of and willing to learn about new cutting edge research tools and methods.

Scientific Officer (C) /1 UR

Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks.Experience : Minimum 2 years experience in web application development in PHP and RDBMS in a Linux environment.Desirable :Familiarity to Core & Advanced Java programming & web application development.Familiarity to Linux system administration.Familiarity to android based application developmentClear concepts of web application development using PHP framework.

Scientific Officer (C) – RESERVED FOR OTHER BACKWARD CLASS/1 UR

Qualification : BE/B.Tech in Electronics/Electronics and (Tele)communication Engineering with minimum 60% marks. Experience : 1-2 years experience in designing and debugging of high speed analog, digital and VLSI circuits. Desirable : Knowledge on electronics and data acquisition systems for science experiments.Job Requirement : The selected candidates are expected to study, design and debug low noise analog circuits as well as high speed digital and VLSI systems using CPLDs and FPGAs. Experience in hardware description languages as well as programming soft processers will be essential requirements.

Qualification : M.Sc. in any branch of Chemistry/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biology or in equivalent subject with minimum 60% marks. OR B.E./ B.Tech. with Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering or in equivalent subject. Desirable Experience : Minimum 2 years experience of working in a Chemistry/Biochemistry Laboratory.Job Requirement : Manage and maintain day-to-day work of the Chemistry/Biochemistry Laboratories and instrumentation facility.

Scientific Assistant (B) /1 UR

Qualification : (a) Science Graduate in Physics and/or Electronics with minimum 60% marks. ORi) SSC/HSC. (ii) Diploma in Electronics Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication / Electronics and Telecommunication / Electronics & Telecommunication & Computer Science (DETCS) / Electronics & Video engineering with minimum 60% marks. (b) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications. Experience : Fresher’s as well as candidates with 1 or 2 or more years experience in handling electronics (digital analogue), power supply and control circuits. Experience in handling optical systems will be an added advantage.

Junior Hindi Translator  /1 UR

Qualification : i) Graduate in Hindi Literature and / or English Literature and proficiency in both languages. (ii) Government recognized Diploma in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa. (iii) Knowledge of typing in Hindi. (iv) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications.Experience : Minimum 2 years experience in translation from English to Hindi and vice versa.Desirable : i) Knowledge of typing in English. (ii) MS-CIT or equivalent course.
