Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Tile Installation:
Lay and align ceramic, marble, granite, mosaic, and vitrified tiles on surfaces such as walls, floors, staircases, bathrooms, and kitchens. -
Surface Preparation:
Clean and level the surface using cement, sand, leveling compounds, or adhesives before laying tiles. -
Measuring and Marking:
Take accurate measurements of areas to be tiled and mark guidelines to ensure straight and symmetrical tile placement. -
Cutting Tiles:
Use tools such as tile cutters, grinders, and wet saws to cut tiles as needed around corners, fixtures, and irregular spaces. -
Mixing Adhesives and Grout:
Prepare cement slurry, tile adhesive, and grout mixtures in the correct ratios for long-lasting installations. -
Fixing and Finishing:
Apply adhesives uniformly and place tiles carefully with spacers for even grout lines; press tiles firmly for bonding.
Finish joints using grout and clean off excess material after setting. -
Repair and Maintenance:
Remove broken or damaged tiles and replace them with new ones as part of repair work when required. -
Collaboration and Reporting:
Coordinate with the site engineer and follow design layouts and material specifications.
Report work progress and any site issues promptly to supervisors. -
Safety Compliance:
Follow site safety procedures, use protective gear, and ensure tools are handled properly.
