Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) invites application for the position Software Developer

Qualification: Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Engg./Science/Application or equivalent withminimumof 55% of aggregate marks.
Skills andExperience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience in developing web based applications specifically using Python. Experience in working with either Django (Preferred) or Flask. Working knowledge with database like Postgres (Preferred) or MySQLand writing SQL queries. Knowledge with Git or any other version control system. Experience working with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript. Good to have knowledge of Ajax. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Salary (consolidate salary per month): Rs. 35,000/-to 40,000/-
Responsibility:
1. Fully involve in the end-to-end softwaredevelopment life cycle.
2. Support and Maintain existing web applications.
3. Investigate functional problems,finding and fixing defects as needed.
4. Write SQL queries to generate the required data.
5. Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
