We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Engineer / Tool and Die Technician with Quality Control Experience to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in manufacturing processes. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring production efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, build, and repair tools, dies, and fixtures for manufacturing.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
- Operate and maintain CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshooting to ensure precision and functionality.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and dies to extend their lifespan.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve processes and tooling performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Diploma/Degree in Tool and Die Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum X years of experience in tool and die making or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of machining, metal stamping, and die maintenance.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Mastercam).
- Hands-on experience with CNC and manual machining.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
