Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Knowledge of all type die maintenance running on above automated lines.
· Responsible to maintain the dies assigned to him.
· Handling of Emergency breakdown of all type of dies (E.g. Draw, Trim, Blank, Pierce form etc.)
· Knowledge of preventive maintenance of dies. Services, maintains, and test new or changed dies.
· Trouble shooting of dies during production support of the plant automated production lines like Transfer, Tandem & progressive tools.
· Break down maintenance of dies in house.
· Coordination with Tool Room supervisor from time to time.
· Knowledge of Tool try out & proved the components.
· Knowledge of welding related to press tool.
· Knowledge & hands on of Conventional M/c. like milling, drilling, surface grinding welding, Lathe, Shearing machine.
· Knowledge of Kaizen.
· Knowledge of 5âs.
· Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on all tooling and fills out the pm sheet.
· Operates a variety of small machines, tools and equipment.
· Verifies conformance of machined or repaired dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances and alignments.
· Modifies dies and tooling to conform to engineering changes.
· Tryout of new die sets and tooling.
· Maintain good housekeeping practices.
· Perform all other duties as required
