Role Description
This is for Trainee Associate role at Apexon, Ahmedabad. The Trainee Associate will be responsible for performing data annotation, auditing & providing insights to support improving accuracy. The role also includes generating reports, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Qualification: Any UG/PG graduate (2019 to 2024 Passed Out)
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience: 0-6 months
- Preferred Location: Ahmedabad
- Mode of Work: Work From Office
- Joining Preference: Immediate Joiners
- Mode of interview: Direct Walk-In
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Labeling & Annotation:

Tag, label, and categorize data such as images, text, videos, or audio using annotation tools provided by the company.

Ensure annotations are done accurately according to predefined guidelines and quality standards.

Mark objects, boundaries, or key features (e.g., bounding boxes in images or transcripts for speech data).
2. Quality Assurance:
-
Perform quality checks on annotated data to ensure correctness and consistency.

Review feedback provided by the QA team and revise annotations accordingly.

Maintain a high accuracy rate and meet daily productivity targets.
3. Tool Usage & Task Management:

Use internal annotation software tools and platforms to complete assigned tasks.

Follow task workflows, version control, and file naming conventions.

Keep track of completed work and update progress in project management tools if required.
4. Training & Guidelines Compliance:

Attend training sessions to understand new data formats, annotation methods, and tool usage.

Refer to and follow detailed annotation guidelines specific to each project or client requirement.

Report issues, ambiguities, or inconsistencies to team leads for clarification.
5. Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with team members, project leads, and quality checkers to ensure smooth task execution.

Participate in team meetings and performance reviews.

Communicate effectively in case of doubts, task delays, or tool malfunctions.
