Star Sea Management is seeking a motivated and organized individual for the role of Trainee - Coordination and Operations. This role is ideal for freshers looking to build a career in the maritime industry. You will be trained to manage both client and crew coordination activities, handle documentation, and support day-to-day operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with seafarers for document collection and verification
Maintain updated databases of crew for all ranks
Liaise with clients/shipping companies for crew requirements and deployment
Prepare and manage biodata, joining documents, and contract paperwork
Track document validity, visa status, and availability of seafarers
Follow up with crew for joining schedules, medicals, and other formalities
Assist with client communication, email coordination, and record keeping
Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
Maintain reports and share regular updates with management

Requirements:

Good English communication (written and spoken)
Strong coordination and follow-up skills
Basic computer knowledge (Google Sheets, Docs, email, etc.)
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Willingness to learn industry-specific processes (training provided)
Freshers welcome – no prior experience required
