Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Assistance:

Support the engineering team in day-to-day project or production tasks.

Assist in creating engineering drawings, technical documentation, and reports.

Help in the implementation of design, analysis, and testing procedures.
2. Learning and Development:

Participate actively in training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job learning programs.

Understand company processes, tools, technologies, and products.

Learn to use technical software, CAD tools, or systems relevant to the role.
3. Field or Plant Exposure (if applicable):

Visit project sites or shop floors to observe and learn about practical engineering activities.

Assist in site inspections, quality checks, installation, or maintenance under supervision.

Observe safety protocols and understand environmental or compliance regulations.
4. Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of tasks completed, challenges encountered, and learnings.

Submit regular progress updates to supervisors or mentors.

Prepare simple technical reports, spreadsheets, or presentations as needed.
5. Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments such as production, quality, R&D, or design.

Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and status reviews.

Collaborate with senior engineers to complete project milestones and deadlines.
6. Problem Solving and Innovation:

Apply basic engineering principles to assist in solving technical problems.

Suggest process improvements or observations from a trainee’s perspective.

Show initiative in learning new tools, technologies, and industry standards.
