Job Description

...ONLY FRESHERS REQUIRED WHO WANT TO BECOME AC TECHNICIAN WITHIN ONE YEAR AND WANT TO EARN REGULAR SALARY.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Learning the Basics of AC Systems:

Assist in understanding the different types of air conditioning units (e.g., split, window, central air conditioning systems).
Learn the fundamental components of AC systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and refrigerants.
Gain knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems within AC units.

2. Assist in AC Installation:

Observe and assist senior technicians in installing new air conditioning units.
Learn to measure and assess space and requirements for proper unit installation.
Understand and follow safety protocols during installation procedures.

3. Troubleshooting and Repair:

Assist in diagnosing common AC issues such as poor cooling, leakage, and electrical faults.
Learn to identify and replace faulty components like filters, thermostats, and compressors.
Understand how to use diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, pressure gauges) to identify problems.

4. Routine Maintenance:

Help in performing routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and cleaning coils.
Observe and learn how to maintain the efficiency and longevity of air conditioning units.
Assist with checking electrical connections and ensuring they are secure.

5. Customer Interaction:

Learn how to interact with customers to understand their concerns and offer recommendations.
Assist in explaining basic operating instructions to customers after installation or repair.
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when communicating with clients.

6. Safety Practices:

Adhere to safety standards while performing installation, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
Learn to handle refrigerants, electrical components, and mechanical parts safely.
Understand and implement safety procedures in hazardous situations, including working with electrical wiring and lifting heavy equipment.

7. Record-Keeping and Reporting:

Assist in maintaining records of installations, repairs, and maintenance services.
Help document issues, parts replaced, and time spent on each service job.
Learn how to keep track of work orders and customer service logs.

8. Learning Under Supervision:

Continuously learn through direct supervision and on-the-job training from experienced AC technicians.
Take part in workshops or training sessions provided by the company or external trainers to improve technical knowledge.
