Job Description
Kolkata Port Trust intends to recruit 06 Trainee Pilots for which applications are invited from candidates in possession of any of the following certificate of competencies issued by the Director General of Shipping, Government of India.
a. Master (FG)/Dredge Master Gr.I or equivalent.
b. 1st Mate's (FG)/Dredge Master- Gr.II
c. 2nd Mate's (FG)/Dredge Mate - Gr.I
d. B.Sc. Nautical Science
Scale of Pay : Rs. 29,100-54,500
Candidates in possession of Master (FG) Certificate/Dredge Master-Grade-I or equivalent certificates would directly join at the bottom of pilot's scale of pay i.e.
Rs. 29,100-54,500/ - (provisional, subject to final decision of Ministry of Shipping and is under revision).
Master(FG)/Dredge Grade-1 or certificate
Join at the bottom of regular scale of pay of Rs. 29,100-54,500/-(provisional)
1st Mates(FG)/Dredge Master-Grade II
Will start at the basic pay of Rs. 24,900/-
2nd Mates(FG)/Dredge Mate Gr. 1
Will start at the basic pay of the Rs. 20,600/-
B.Sc Nautical Science
Will start at the basic pay of Rs.20600
