Job Description
A Grocery retail chain in Bangalore is looking for hire a hard-working, customer-oriented Trainee Shop Assistant to ensure the smooth running of in-store retail operations. Should also be able to identify customers' needs and recommend suitable shop items that best satisfy their needs.
An ideal candidate for this role is someone -
● Knowledge of regional language (Kannada Mandatory) as most of our customers communicate in their regional language. (Communication in Hindi & English is an added advantage)
● Willingness to work on field and get hands dirty
● This is an entry-level position that has no strict educational requirements.
● Presentable with basic knowledge of computer.
● Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
● Must be able to work weekends and holidays
● The ability to use labeling and pricing equipment as well as Point of Sale (POS) software.
● Exhibit effective communication skills and achieve exceptional customer service at all
times.
JOB PROFILE
Provide assistance to the store manager in his day-to-day tasks.
● Greet and welcome customers to the store in a pleasant manner.
● Assist in displaying products in an easy-to-locate manner.
● Assist and help customers in locating their items of purchase.
● Inspect items and products for any breakages or damages.
● Maintain the store area neat and clean and sanitized.
● Handle safely and delicately the items and products in a store.
● Implement best standards in providing customer services in a store setting.
