Two Year Training Programme - CEC, CAE, Central Library and Chemistry 2017 -2019 conducts IIT Madras
1.Technical Trainee in Central Electronics Centre / 8 (UR 5,OBC 2, SC-1)
Eligibility: First Class Diploma holders (three years duration) in Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
Age limit :23 years
Monthly Stipend: Rs.9000/- p.m.for the first year Rs.10000/- p.m. for the second year
2. Graduate Trainee in Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering/ 4 (UR 3, OBC 1)
Eligibility: Candidates must have obtained First Class B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
Preference will be given to the candidates who have good exposure to Computer Aided Design software.
Monthly Stipend: Rs.10000/- p.m.for the first year Rs.11000/- p.m. for the second year
Age limit : 25 years
3. Graduate Trainee in the Central Library/8 (UR 5,OBC 2,SC 1)
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science
Age limit: 28 years
Monthly Stipend: Rs.10000/- p.m.for the first year Rs.11000/- p.m. for the second year
4. Graduate Trainee in Chemistry / 2 (UR)
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry
Age limit : 28 years
Monthly Stipend: Rs.10000/- p.m.for the first year Rs.11000/- p.m. for the second year
Application Fee: Completed application form along with photocopies of Certificates, Mark Lists of all Semesters, Diploma / Provisional Certificate, Community Certificate (in the case of SC/ST/OBC) and crossed non-refundable Demand Draft (obtained on or after 24.05.2017) to the value of 100/- (no fee for SC/ST/PD category candidates) drawn in favour of The Registrar, I.I.T. Madras .
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected based on written / trade test followed by an interview
