The Transaction Analyst – Crypto Knowledge (Internship) position is designed for students or recent graduates passionate about cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and financial transactions. The role provides hands-on exposure to analyzing blockchain-based transactions, understanding crypto flows, detecting unusual patterns, and supporting the operations and compliance teams with real-time insights.

Key Responsibilities
Transaction Analysis

Monitor and analyze on-chain and off-chain transactions involving cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, and others.

Track fund flows across wallets, exchanges, and DeFi platforms to identify patterns, irregularities, and trends.

Support investigations of flagged or suspicious transactions by providing detailed breakdowns and documentation.

Use blockchain explorers (e.g., Etherscan, Blockchain.com, Solscan) to verify transaction details and wallet activities.

Assist in tagging wallet addresses and updating wallet profiles for known entities or behaviors.
Crypto Market Monitoring

Follow crypto market developments, token launches, price volatility, and major events that may impact transaction activity.

Analyze the impact of token movement, staking activity, or exchange inflows/outflows on market dynamics.

Collect and organize market data from various crypto APIs and news sources to support broader transaction context.
Compliance & Risk Support

Assist in creating summaries of transaction histories for compliance reviews or regulatory purposes.

Document and report potential risks or red flags in accordance with internal policies.

Support Know Your Transaction (KYT) procedures in coordination with compliance officers.
Data Entry & Reporting

Maintain and update internal tracking spreadsheets or databases for wallet activities and transactional history.

Create weekly or monthly reports summarizing trends, key metrics, and abnormal patterns.

Assist in visualizing transaction data for presentations or team meetings using basic tools such as Excel or Google Sheets.
Learning and Development

Participate in training sessions on blockchain technology, risk management, and cryptocurrency compliance.

Learn how to use crypto analytic tools such as Chainalysis, TRM Labs, CipherTrace, or similar platforms (if available).

Stay updated on major regulatory developments (e.g., FATF, MiCA, SEC rules) that impact the crypto industry.

Collaborate with other interns and full-time staff on mini-projects and research assignments.
