Job Description
Office time 10am to 6.30pm
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Transport Helper to assist with the pickup and delivery of televisions at our TV Service Center. The primary responsibility is to ensure that televisions are transported safely to and from the service center for repairs, maintenance, and delivery back to customers. The Transport Helper will also assist the drivers with loading and unloading, ensure proper handling of the products, and ensure timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. TV Pickup & Delivery:

Pickup & Delivery Coordination: Assist with the pickup of televisions from customer locations and deliver repaired units back to the customer’s address.

Timely Delivery: Ensure televisions are delivered on time and in perfect condition to customers, meeting scheduled delivery times.

Route Planning: Assist the driver in following the most efficient routes to reduce delivery times and costs.
2. Loading and Unloading:

Loading: Help load televisions onto the vehicle carefully, ensuring that they are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.

Unloading: Assist in unloading the televisions from the vehicle at the service center or customer’s location, ensuring careful handling of fragile units.

Heavy Lifting: Assist in carrying and moving large TVs, using appropriate lifting techniques to avoid injury or damage to the products.
3. Packaging and Handling:

Protection of Goods: Ensure that televisions are packed securely with appropriate padding or protective materials to prevent damage during transportation.

Handling Instructions: Follow company procedures for handling televisions and other fragile equipment to ensure they are treated with care at all times.
4. Customer Interaction:

Customer Communication: Assist with customer communication during pickups and deliveries, ensuring customers are informed of the expected delivery time and any changes.

Professional Conduct: Maintain a polite and professional demeanor when interacting with customers, providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
5. Maintenance of Vehicle:

Vehicle Organization: Assist with organizing and keeping the transport vehicle clean and free from clutter, ensuring TVs are safely stored.

Safety Checks: Help ensure that the vehicle is in good working condition and assist the driver in conducting safety checks before and after each delivery.
6. General Assistance:

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the transport and service center team, providing support as needed for smooth daily operations.

Warehouse Support: Provide occasional assistance in the warehouse, such as moving TVs or other products, or assisting with inventory checks.

Educational Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy items safely, including large TVs and other electronics.

Attention to Detail: Careful handling of items to ensure no damage during pickup, transport, or delivery.

Time Management: Ability to manage time efficiently and assist with timely deliveries and pickups.

Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.

Customer Service: Friendly and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.

Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
