Job Description
Role and responsibilities
Sales & Lead Conversion
- Handle inbound and outbound travel inquiries via call, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins.
- Convert leads into successful travel bookings (B2C / B2B).
- Follow up with potential customers to close sales and achieve monthly targets.
- Promote and sell domestic & international tour packages (customized & fixed departures).
Itinerary & Package Handling
- Understand customer preferences and suggest suitable destinations/packages.
- Prepare customized itineraries, quotes, and travel plans as per client budget and needs.
- Coordinate with hotels, transport vendors, DMCs for bookings and costings.
- Provide details on flights, stay options, sightseeing, and inclusions.
Customer Service & Support
- Maintain long-term customer relationships through prompt communication and after-sales service.
- Handle complaints or changes in travel arrangements with professionalism.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction throughout the booking to travel process.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in travel sales (Domestic/International)
- Freshers with strong communication and passion for travel may also apply (if applicable)
- Industry: Tours & Travel, Hospitality, Immigration Consultancy, BPO (Travel Process)
- Strong sales skills and a passion for the travel industry
- Excellent communication (Hindi & English) and convincing ability
- Proven experience in handling client inquiries and converting leads
- Knowledge of destinations like Himachal, Uttarakhand, Kerala, Goa, Dubai, Bali, etc.
- Comfortable using MS Excel, Email, WhatsApp Business, and CRM tools
- Goal-oriented mindset with ability to work under targets
- Willingness to learn new destinations, packages, and sales techniques
- Pleasant personality and a customer-first attitude
- Ability to work in a team and handle multiple clients simultaneously
