Job Description
- Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in various subjects.
- Assess students’ current understanding, identify gaps, and tailor lessons accordingly to meet their unique needs.
- Develop engaging lesson plans and educational activities that foster understanding and retention.
- Track and report on student progress, providing detailed feedback to students and their parents.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation.
- Maintain open communication with parents and the Tuition Madam team regarding student progress and concerns.
- Ensure lessons are aligned with curriculum standards and effectively address learning goals.
Qualifications
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching.
- Ability to assess and address different learning needs.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to use online platforms for virtual lessons.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field (preferred).
- Subject-specific expertise (Mathematics, Science, English, etc.).
- Experience:
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience (preferred but not required).
- Experience in working with students of varying skill levels and backgrounds.
- Certifications:
- Teaching certifications or specialized tutoring certifications (preferred).
